Job Description
EY is hiring Associate Software Engineers to join its Consulting practice in Bengaluru. This opportunity offers recent graduates a platform to kickstart their career in technology within one of the most dynamic and globally connected professional services networks. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work on real-world problems, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative projects across industries and domains.
The role is part of EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) network, which operates from multiple locations across the globe and collaborates with teams from all EY service lines. You'll join a diverse team of technology professionals and consultants who support client transformation journeys by leveraging technologies such as AI, ML, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative technology solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Apply programming principles and best practices in real-world development scenarios.
- Support testing teams in business/user acceptance testing activities.
- Analyze and manage large datasets, contributing to data-driven decisions and solutions.
- Contribute to technology implementations in Oracle, SAP, Banking, Insurance, Cybersecurity, and other enterprise platforms.
- Maintain documentation and assist in process improvement initiatives.
Functional Areas You May Work In
- Digital Technologies: UI/UX, full-stack development (.NET, Java), cloud-native applications, DevSecOps, emerging tech like AR/VR, drones, blockchain.
- Testing Services: Functional, business, and user acceptance testing across software products.
- Data & Analytics: BI, AI, ML, cloud data management, and analytics transformation.
- Enterprise Solutions: Oracle, SAP, IBM Maximo, EPM tools, JavaScript, Python, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Domain-Specific Consulting: Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management – support for core banking platforms, modernization, digital architecture.
- Cyber Security: Risk assessment, security design, implementation of cybersecurity frameworks.
- Technology Risk: IT risk and assurance, internal controls, and governance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or Circuit branches
- Minimum 60% throughout academics
- No active backlogs
