Key Responsibilities
- Help analyze existing Oracle database schemas, stored procedures, and data pipelines.
- Support the design and development of equivalent data models and ETL pipelines in Databricks using PySpark/SQL.
- Take part in data validation, reconciliation, and performance testing after migration.
- Document migration processes, data mappings, and transformation logic.
- Work with senior engineers and stakeholders to keep the transition smooth with minimal downtime.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or PySpark.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.
- Exposure to Databricks, Apache Spark, or big data tools is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
