What You'll Do

Eaton's PSS CoE is looking for energetic candidates with a solid grasp of engineering concepts and a passion for sustainability. Candidates should have basic knowledge of product stewardship and the ability to drive product compliance and sustainability assessments for new and current products.

The role supports project implementation for product regulatory compliance under regulations such as REACH, AD-DSL, ELV, RoHS, CP-65, POP and upcoming regulations across Eaton's broad portfolio. This work helps the enterprise release its sustainability report and ensure compliance readiness for the wider portfolio.

1. Support the Corp Sustainability team on CDP, SSMA and other projects covering GHG accounting and reporting.
2. Study customer requirements on product compliance and implement them into applicable projects.
3. Work closely with India and global cross-functional teams, including project engineering, Quality, Plant Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Sales.
4. Monitor progress and achievements on projects, and provide regular reports on development and support activities.
5. Stay curious and energetic about upcoming regulatory requirements and share findings with the team.
6. Support continuous process improvement methods and adopt digital and automation tools to improve efficiency.

Skills

• Strong understanding of engineering, science and arithmetic basics, including material, weight, volume, density, mass, units and measurement methods.
• Theoretical understanding of product stewardship and regulations such as REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS and Prop 65, with basic interpretation skills.
• Willingness to learn new areas and collaborate with local and global suppliers on compliance data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• An aptitude for automation, continuous improvement, dashboards and digital skills is highly desirable.
