About the Role

Harman Automotive is seeking a Digital Signal Processing Intern to join its Bangalore team for a fixed-term internship of 9 months. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded software for amplifier applications, contributing to the development of advanced in-vehicle infotainment and audio systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test embedded software for amplifier applications using C/C++, scripting languages, and real-time operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize code with development tools such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers, along with hardware instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Ensure compliance with MISRA guidelines, conduct unit and system-level testing, and participate in code reviews to maintain high software quality.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of embedded operating systems and MISRA guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile or V-model project life cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Eligibility

  • Fixed-term internship for 9 months.
  • Work from office in Bangalore, India.
