Job Description
In your first year with TI, you will join the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which offers professional and technical training to speed up your integration into TI and support your long-term career growth. The program includes function-specific technical training and hands-on learning opportunities from day one. The TMG Development program is a 12-month initiative for new college graduates in the TMG organization.
As a Digital IC Design Engineer, you will help architect new TI products and turn customer visions into reality. You will define, design, model, and verify digital circuits that meet performance, power, cost, and schedule targets. You will also work on defining and documenting the world's first 64-bit DSP processor, MMU, and heterogeneous multicore shared memory and cache systems, including coherent TI DSP and ARM processors. Opportunities include CPU simulator development, 64-bit vector processor ISA architecture, development, and verification.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Collaborate with business teams and system engineering to develop design specifications
- Provide high-level analysis on chip architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and competitive performance
- Participate in design reviews and create necessary design and product documentation
- Supervise IC layouts to ensure high performance
- Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test and product engineering for product releases
- Drive behavioral models

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
