Change the world and enjoy your work. As a Digital IC Design Engineer, you will help build new TI products and turn customers' visions into reality. You will define, design, model and verify digital circuits that meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets.

You will also define, design, model, implement and document the world's first 64-bit DSP processor, MMU and heterogeneous multicore shared memory and cache systems, including coherent TI DSP and ARM processors. Work areas include CPU simulator development, 64-bit vector processor ISA architecture, and development and verification.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Partnering with business teams and system engineering to agree on design specifications
• Analyzing chip architecture trade-offs to meet spec compliance and strong performance at a competitive cost
• Taking part in design reviews and preparing design and product documentation
• Supervising IC layouts to maintain a high performance standard
• Characterizing prototypes, writing test specifications and coordinating with test and product engineering to drive releases
• Developing behavioral models
