Role Description
Trade Finance Operations manages products such as Letters of Credit, Collections, and Bank Guarantees. The role provides opportunities to work across multiple trade products and processes. Subject matter experts support learning and provide training on various operational workflows and product handling.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day process service delivery
- Act as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide operational and technical guidance for client and team queries
- Monitor and control operational workflows
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Ensure tasks are completed within defined SLAs
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures
- Support team members in addressing operational challenges
- Handle multiple responsibilities and manage priorities effectively
- Delegate tasks appropriately to team members
- Maintain structured communication across teams
- Support recruitment and training activities
- Supervise team development and performance
- Drive projects and efficiency initiatives
- Ensure backup resources for critical roles and assist other teams during high volumes or staff shortages
- Collaborate with process owners, stakeholders, and internal clients to support business growth
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of trade finance rules and guidelines issued by ICC, including UCP and URC
- Knowledge of legal, credit, and operational risks related to trade finance products and services
- Ability to work in late night shifts
- CDCS certification is an advantage
