Job Description
The Analyst is responsible for processing daily documentation, confirmations, and related operational activities within the team. The role involves ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately while tracking and resolving exception items. The analyst also contributes to team initiatives, projects, and exception management processes.
A solid understanding of the business is expected, including knowledge of the trade lifecycle and familiarity with investment products such as Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Structured Products, and Exchange Traded Funds by the end of the probation period. The derivatives documentation team handles confirmations and documentation related queries for global clients across FX Cash, Options, Rates, and Credit derivatives, including trade confirmations, affirmations, and novations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all trades are confirmed or required actions are completed within defined timelines
- Follow up with clients to obtain confirmations on time
- Manage operational risks by escalating key issues promptly and accurately
- Monitor trade queues and ensure all items are processed
- Coordinate with Middle Office, Front Office, and clients to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain knowledge of derivatives documentation and related terminology
- Respond to queries promptly and address reconciliation breaks
- Analyze trades and confirmations to ensure accuracy
- Support cost efficiency initiatives related to operational processes
- Provide management information and reporting to business line managers
- Identify opportunities to standardize and improve operational workflows
- Prepare and monitor various MIS reports
- Ensure regulatory requirements are considered during trade confirmation activities
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of FX and derivatives products and related documentation
- Ability to collaborate with global internal teams and departments
- Experience with derivatives or FX documentation is preferred
- Awareness of front to back processing including trading, documentation, clearing, settlement, accounting, and risk
- Coordinate with sales, traders, middle office, accounting, operations, and collateral management teams
- Maintain communication with internal teams and external clients or counterparties
- Assist managers with projects aimed at improving workflows and reducing operational errors
- Provide coverage for colleagues when required
