Software Engineer 1

The Software Engineering team builds next generation application enhancements and develops new products for an evolving technology landscape. The team designs and develops software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics using modern technologies, tools and software engineering practices, while collaborating with internal and external partners.

This role is part of the Software Engineering team in Bangalore, focused on building reliable and scalable software solutions that support customer business goals and operating environments.

What You’ll Achieve

As a Software Engineer 1, you will contribute to the development of advanced systems and software aligned with customer requirements and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and integrate code for both new and existing software while following source code revision control processes
• Troubleshoot issues related to software reliability and performance
• Review requirements, specifications and design documents and create tests to support product quality and performance assurance
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical end user documentation
• Contribute ideas for new software products or improvements to upcoming product versions

Essential Requirements

• Entry level knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and databases
• Ability to debug simple programs using written or verbal design specifications
• Understanding of interactions between hardware and software components
• Exposure to server, storage, networking and client technologies
• Basic awareness of software architectures and application design

Desirable Requirements

• Practical exposure gained through internships, student projects or related professional experience
