Production & Assembly Representative
This on-site role is in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, and is a full-time position in the Production function.
Summary
You will recognize, identify, load and install parts as per the customer's system specifications and requirements. The role involves a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations, and you will decide or follow the methods and sequence of each task. You will also prepare the system and maintain quality through the kitting, boxing and assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Check component availability for the computer and install parts following the build instructions
- Troubleshoot systems, including reseating essential components, and alert the repair team if a system fails
- Identify and load parts and chassis for the system into the tote
- For product returns, run basic tests on factory sealed products and decide whether defective systems can be repaired or must go to teardown
- Swap wrong parts, retrieve missing parts or return extra parts to the kitting line
- Confirm that documentation and accessories are placed in the system box, where local procedures require it
- Carry out scanning, de-stack systems and connect them for software download and burn-in
- Lift and place systems into final packaging using the vacu-hoist, check for damage, apply labels, and perform final inspection and testing to confirm parts are installed and working per the customer's specification
