Google’s Hardware Operations team is responsible for maintaining the advanced physical infrastructure that powers its search technology. As a Data Center Technician, you will be involved in installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining both hardware and server software. This role includes working with complex networking components such as routers, switches, and protocols, and contributing to projects that enhance Google’s data center capabilities.
Expect hands-on work including manual movement and installation of racks. The role offers exposure to Google’s extensive engineering ecosystem and involves working towards energy-efficient and sustainable data center operations.
