Overview
Position Summary
Handles initial customer calls and responds to general questions about company products and services. Directs callers to the appropriate resources, such as inbound sales, billing, or technical support. Follows up on customer inquiries regarding orders, shipment tracing, returned goods, and similar matters. May determine caller eligibility for technical support and transfer calls to technical support queues.
Other responsibilities include data entry, using internal databases to answer customer questions, and writing internal or external non-technical documentation. Documents customer concerns and forwards complaint trends to the appropriate departments.
