Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

• Help implement and administer recruitment programs
• Receive, screen, and file incoming resumes, along with background and reference checks
• Conduct initial screening interviews, telephone interviews, and/or face-to-face interviews with prospective applicants
• Advise the hiring manager on candidate hiring decisions, and work with relevant stakeholders to offer competitive compensation packages and negotiate with candidates
• Source qualified candidates through internet, community organizations, print media, formal and informal networks, colleges, and trade associations
• Keep accurate and concise records and reports for all phases of the recruitment process, using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools
• Maintain consistent standards for all applicants and ensure compliance with local hiring rules and regulations
• Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of job specifications, including experience, skills, and behavioral competencies needed for each role
• Represent the Company image to candidates and external service providers, and uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior throughout the recruiting process

Candidate Profile

• Less than two years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency, able to work well under pressure in a high-velocity environment
• Professionalism and ability to build relationships
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

Career Level Description

This role performs routine assignments at the entry level of the Professional Career Band. It uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems and typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and concepts. The role develops competence through structured work assignments and receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.
