Job Responsibilities
As a Backend Intern, you will work closely with our cybersecurity engineering team and help shape the backend infrastructure of our products.
Your role will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and services
- Writing clean and efficient code in Node.js or Go
- Collaborating with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring high code quality
- Debugging issues and optimizing performance
- Documenting technical specs and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
- Keeping up with latest trends in backend and cybersecurity
- Continuously improving engineering processes and practices
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming knowledge in Node.js or Go
- Understanding of backend development frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and protocols
- Good grasp of databases, SQL, and data modeling principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Understanding of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD)
- Knowledge of NoSQL, caching, and distributed systems
