Citi is Hiring KYC Operations Analyst (Mumbai) | Hybrid

The KYC Operations Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level position responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
• Review all information and documentation to confirm compliance with local regulations and Citi standards
• Update KYC forms and client profiles according to policy requirements
• Follow up with clients to make sure information is received before due dates
• Perform KYC tasks, including monitoring and tracking of KYC records and the Appendix approval process, helping to develop and carry out action plans for expiring records, and making sure records are not past due
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, with particular attention to the firm's reputation and to safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets. This means driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, following policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues transparently
• Support the execution of business decisions by turning direction into actionable steps and ensuring solid follow-through. Handle non-routine situations and practical challenges with judgment, and make sure processes are applied consistently and outputs meet expected standards
• Apply domain expertise and analytical capability to deliver outputs that meet established standards. Evaluate business requirements, form well-reasoned views, and recommend practical solutions, refining standard methods where needed
• Exercise independent judgment in day-to-day responsibilities, including evaluating complex situations, resolving issues and deciding on courses of action. Drive delivery within your area, be accountable for quality and timelines, and review outputs and guide approach where required
