Role Overview
The Transaction Services Analyst 1 is an entry level position that provides analytical and administrative assistance to traders while working closely with the Transaction Capture team. The primary objective is to maintain position records and support processes related to securities and transaction services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support across Treasury and Trade Services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, and Foreign Exchange activities.
- Open and modify Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments, and resolve customer queries to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and contribute suggestions as a subject matter expert for assigned products.
- Implement and validate improvements for different products and prepare customized reporting.
- Handle requests and deliverables from internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Analyze data to determine appropriate solutions to operational issues.
- Participate in ad hoc projects defined by supervisors, execute complex transactions, and contribute to specialized processes.
- Assess risk during business decisions while safeguarding the organization, its clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and escalate control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with intermediate problem solving ability.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent university qualification.
