Overview
The Trade Support Specialist is an entry level position that supports efficient trade execution and operational activities within the organization. The role works with multiple teams to help ensure trades are processed accurately and on time while assisting in resolving trade related issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for trade execution including confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of trades.
- Monitor trade lifecycle events and ensure all trades are processed accurately and within required timelines.
- Identify and resolve trade discrepancies or breaks with brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
- Maintain accurate trade records and documentation while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Work with traders, portfolio managers, and internal teams to address trade related inquiries and requests.
- Assist with testing and implementation of new trading platforms and improvements to existing systems.
- Monitor market events and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in cross functional initiatives aimed at improving trade operations and supporting systems.
- Remain informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices related to trade support functions.
- Assess risk while making business decisions, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and ethical standards. Escalate and report control issues appropriately while maintaining transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly through written and verbal communication.
Education
- Bachelor’s or University degree.
