Overview
Business Execution Team
The Business Execution team supports Business Managers by providing analysis and insights that help senior leadership plan and execute strategy effectively. The team focuses on evaluating internal metrics and assisting with business management activities.
- Analyze internal business metrics including client revenue, returns, backlog management, client calling activity, exposure, risk capital, and wallet data.
- Assist with franchise initiatives and preparation of internal strategy presentations.
- Coordinate client coverage and attribute updates with CIS and Toolbox teams.
Role Outline
- Support the Business Manager in the daily management of franchise units, performing research and analysis that informs strategic decision making.
- Participate in planning, execution, and follow-up activities for management processes such as franchise reviews, client planning, and project initiatives.
- Work with bankers, business managers, and product partners on business metrics including client prioritization, coverage, revenue, returns, and pipeline.
- Create reports and presentations on franchise performance for senior management, focusing on revenue trends, backlog analysis, and calling intensity.
- Conduct budgeting analysis by client and product and review target market performance.
- Investigate missing or incorrectly booked revenue and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure proper revenue recording.
- Analyze wallet data, track wallet ranking and market share, and investigate discrepancies with internal systems.
- Prepare reports and analyses related to metrics such as Revenues, Wallet, Outstanding and Unused Commitment (OSUC), GAAP Assets, Return on Risk Capital (RORC), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ROTCE.
- Enhance routine deliverables through independent analysis and additional commentary.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
- Support senior team members with the planning and execution of complex projects and team initiatives.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including advanced Excel functions.
- Good understanding of financial concepts and banking metrics.
- Ability to manage confidential information and work with large datasets.
- Experience with Tableau, VBA Macros, or SQL is considered an advantage.
