Role Overview

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for supporting the development and implementation of new or updated application systems in coordination with the technology team. The position contributes to system analysis and programming tasks, with a focus on Oracle SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of application development procedures and technical concepts to identify and define system improvements.
• Investigate issues, perform analysis, and recommend or implement appropriate solutions.
• Use understanding of business and system processes along with industry practices to resolve complex problems.
• Evaluate information and provide recommendations for system enhancements and operational improvements.
• Perform testing and debugging activities, use scripting tools, and write basic code aligned with design specifications.
• Assist the BAO in coordinating with third parties to facilitate information exchange and respond to queries.
• Support the management of document requests between Citi and external partners.
• Help the BAO complete periodic risk assessments related to third party relationships.
• Track and ensure that required due diligence activities are completed on time.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and remediate any identified gaps under BAO guidance.
• Support the interpretation and enforcement of third party contract terms and related amendments.
• Report performance concerns or emerging risks to the BAO and the Third Party Risk Management team.
• Coordinate meetings between the BAO, third parties, and internal stakeholders when needed.
• Monitor action items and deliverables to ensure completion within agreed timelines.
• Maintain a repository of third party documentation including contracts, amendments, and due diligence records.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of updates or reports on third party performance, risks, and issue status.
• Support activities across the third party management lifecycle including onboarding, monitoring, renewal, or offboarding.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to programming or debugging within business applications.
• Understanding of industry practices and development standards.
• Knowledge of application development within a specific business domain.
• Working familiarity with programming languages.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent university qualification.
