Training for the program begins in Singapore, followed by placement in India during the second year.
You will train alongside a diverse cohort across the APJC region, building strong professional networks in a collaborative learning environment. The program encourages hands-on learning through AI customer simulations and mentored activities.
During the program, you will work with Cisco Associate Sales Representatives to deliver technical solutions that support business outcomes. You will strengthen your knowledge across Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud technologies.
You will also be paired with a mentor, typically a CSAP alumnus, and gain industry-recognized certifications while preparing for advanced technical sales opportunities within Cisco.
The CSAP Graduate Program is a 12-month accelerator focused on developing future Technical Sales Champions through education, exposure, and practical experience.
Months 1-3: Participate in bootcamp training and core technical skill development.
Months 3-12: Complete three rotational assignments to gain real-world technical sales exposure.
After 12 months: Transition into a Solutions Engineer role focused on discovering, demonstrating, and designing solutions for customer challenges.
The learning approach emphasizes experiential growth through coached, real-world practice within a peer cohort environment.
A major component of the program is Cisco's AI-first approach. As an Associate Solutions Engineer in the Global Sales Enablement & Acceleration team, you will develop AI capabilities using advanced learning platforms and artificial intelligence to support solution design and strategic decision-making.
High performers can validate their progress through quarterly competency checkpoints and may accelerate into broader technical opportunities before the program concludes.
After completing the Early In Career program, you will join Cisco's Global Virtual Engineering team, a technical presales organization supporting customers, partners, and internal sales teams with software and engineering solutions.
Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or STEAM disciplines, or equivalent technical experience demonstrated through certifications, projects, or home lab work.
Fluency in English and the primary language of the hiring country.
Authorization to work in the hiring country without sponsorship.
Interest in networking, software technologies, AI, and automation, with exposure to Java or Python.
Ability to work across matrixed teams and collaborate effectively in cohort-based environments.
Strong analytical thinking and capability to solve technical challenges while connecting requirements to business value.
Ability to explain complex technologies in a clear and persuasive manner for varied audiences.
