The Technical Information Solutions (TIS) team within the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) creates and delivers technical parts and service information through SIS and SIS2GO. This information supports the repair and service of Caterpillar products, and over 300,000 dealer and customer users rely on it to identify and order Cat parts.

Job Summary

In TIS, the Parts Information Graphic Specialist creates and maintains technical parts information for Caterpillar products.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and revise technical parts information graphics for new product introductions, continuous process improvement, and revision timelines.
• Make sure all parts information graphics are accurate and take part in process improvement efforts.
• Validate prints to confirm that information elements are documented according to Caterpillar standards.
• Confirm that each relevant part has clear and descriptive graphics associated with it.

Required Skills

• Technical Excellence: Demonstrated knowledge of Caterpillar product structure, engineering databases (Teamcenter, HVC), parts information databases (Windchill authoring system), and graphic creation tools (Creo, Canvas).
• Effective Communication: Gives helpful, behavior-focused feedback, accepts feedback without defensiveness, and makes oral presentations and written reports needed for their own work. Leads meetings and teams effectively.
• Collaboration & Engagement: Ability to build and maintain healthy working relationships with peers and other relevant stakeholders.
