Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Test Engineer (Automation) to join our Engineering department in Noida. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to work in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced engineers and product teams. You will contribute to testing, design, implementation, delivery, and support of our innovative products and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong focus on product quality.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on functional and technical designs.
- Perform ad-hoc testing for bug fixes.
- Investigate defects to determine root causes.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and maintain test documentation.
- Track defects through to closure.
- Manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, and web programming.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java/J2EE with Spring Boot).
- Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres.
- Knowledge of web/application servers like Tomcat.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
- Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN).
- Understanding of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Open-source contributions or personal projects.
- Participation in developer communities or meetups.
- Relevant technical or agile methodology certifications.
