Job Description

Demand Planner - North will carry out the following responsibilities:

1. Demand Aggregation and Planning: Gather regional demand and analyse it to produce the final unconstrained demand for the sourcing and inventory planning team.
2. S&OP Coordination and Planning: Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales, marketing, production and senior management through the S&OP process, so that demand plans match business objectives.
3. Demand Planning Improvements: Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the demand planning process, applying advanced forecasting techniques and best practices.
4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels by balancing customer demand against available stock, setting reorder points and optimising safety stock to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
5. Long Term Planning: Work with marketing and sales to share long term business plans for each product, supporting capacity alignment and resource planning.
6. Market Analysis: Work with marketing and sales to understand market conditions and external factors such as price changes, schemes and promotions, and review current market trends for timely corrections.
