Role Definition

This role assists with the technical analysis of manufacturing processes, covering production, costs, quality, compliance with safety guidelines, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take part in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment and process reliability, and identify and address problem areas.
• Coach and develop operations technical staff and support areas.
• Provide engineering support for the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

Key Skill Areas

• Collaborative Automation: Understanding of cobot techniques and processes, and the ability to develop and deploy cobots to automate manufacturing.
• Engineering in Manufacturing: Knowledge of engineering processes and methods in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes.
• Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean philosophy and principles, and the ability to integrate lean into existing production and management processes.
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing manufacturing methods, technologies, and processes, and the ability to plan, manage, and monitor the full manufacturing process.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Knowledge of RPA techniques and the ability to develop and deploy RPA solutions across industries.

Other skill areas include decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving.

This role requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position.
