About the Role

As a Junior SDET, you will contribute to the quality assurance process by writing test cases, automating tests using Cypress.io, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. You will also help identify risks, evaluate product quality, and collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for web applications.
• Identify risks and evaluate product quality across multiple releases.
• Support automation of test cases using Cypress.io and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define quality metrics and maintain QA documentation.
• Review developer implementations to identify issues before deployment.
• Assist in planning test cycles, preparing test data, and generating quality reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of QA/automation experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of manual testing processes and techniques.
• Basic debugging skills for web applications.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, databases, sessions, and tokens.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
• Exposure to automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium (through projects, coursework, or internships).
