Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The role focuses on developing strategic infrastructure for models, onboarding the existing model suite and new quantitative methodologies, and redeveloping models based on monitoring results, IVU feedback, and business changes. The position also supports the model validation process.
Accountabilities
- Deliver advanced model analytics while improving stability and ensuring consistent calculation approaches.
- Lead technical engagements with QA and IVU for strategic redevelopment projects on behalf of FTC.
- Provide model execution, output analysis, and lifecycle management capabilities across forecasting and BAU model use cases.
- Implement process improvements through stronger controls, automation, and enhanced analytics.
- Perform advanced model analytics such as recalibration, sensitivity analysis, and root cause investigation.
- Support controls and testing by resolving execution issues with IT and QA and performing UAT during model productionisation.
- Document issues and potential improvements for model redevelopment and prepare technical documentation together with QA.

- Build an understanding of how the sub-function integrates with broader organisational products, services, and processes.
- Evaluate information carefully, make informed judgements, and resolve issues using technical experience and established practices.
- Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively and guide team members where required.
- Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function while building professional networks internally and externally.
