Purpose of the Role

The role supports senior executives by helping them address complex challenges, make informed decisions, and achieve strategic objectives.

Accountabilities

• Work closely with business teams and senior leadership to help develop and implement strategies aligned with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a liaison across business units and functions to encourage communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate strategic initiatives, projects, and change management activities to improve business processes and strengthen the control environment.
• Identify areas for operational improvement, streamline processes, and introduce best practices that enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare performance reports for key metrics supporting divisional objectives and external commitments. Contribute to financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of performance against targets.
• Assist business heads in collaboration with HR on hiring activities, workforce planning, and joiner, mover, leaver processes.

SDM Governance Analyst Overview

Investment Banking Analytics collaborates closely with product and coverage teams to design, develop, and deliver data driven analytical insights. The team focuses on advancing analytics capabilities to support increased reliance on data and model driven outcomes.

The role works with developers and business users to identify effective ways to present complex qualitative and quantitative data that supports commercial decision making.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Understanding of financial markets and financial products.

Desirable Skills and Responsibilities

• Assist Global Markets Lead Service Managers in overseeing services delivered by Third Party Service Providers (TPSP).
• Ensure TPSP services are configured in Process Unity, the procurement platform used for service delivery management.
• Analyse TPSP service management information, prepare documentation, and support service review meetings.
• Support the management of TPSP service incidents alongside the Lead Service Manager.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities during contract reviews and document them within improvement plans.
• Evaluate control assessments to ensure compliance with agreed assurance plans.
• Maintain evidence and documentation within Process Unity related to service management activities.
• Coordinate contract changes through established governance processes.
• Maintain documentation related to TPSP services and track assets or intellectual property shared with suppliers.
• Report software usage data to the Supplier Manager for licence management.
