Job Description

Purpose of the role

The role supports the smooth running of the bank's business activities by handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The position focuses on maintaining organised processes, assisting internal teams, and ensuring administrative operations run efficiently.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and facilitate project cost close out activities, ensuring any pending issues or cost commitments are resolved promptly.
  • Assist with payroll related processes, including receiving and verifying wage input sheets from operations, escalating queries, and distributing pay slips.
  • Provide administrative support for implementing talent development strategies, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and well organised records such as financial documents, reports, and administrative files.
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring availability and arranging orders when required.

Analyst Expectations

  • Support stakeholder and customer needs by offering specialist assistance within the work area.
  • Complete assigned activities on time and maintain high quality standards.
  • Take responsibility for specific operational processes within the team.

  • Build knowledge of how different teams contribute to wider organisational objectives and collaborate effectively with them.
  • Develop understanding of operational principles within the administrative function and apply past experience to make sound judgements.
  • Assess prior or similar situations to evaluate options when procedures do not fully cover a scenario.
  • Communicate sensitive or complex information to customers related to administrative or advisory activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and customers.

In this position, you may also provide subject matter knowledge related to India employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and organisational compliance processes. The role involves helping interpret statutory requirements, supporting policy alignment with legal standards, and assisting with interactions involving regulators when required.

Required Skills

  • Managing executive or team calendars and ensuring timely responses to meeting requests and invitations.
  • Planning and coordinating travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Anticipating team needs, prioritising tasks, and ensuring activities are completed on schedule.
  • Handling day to day administrative tasks such as expense processing, filing systems, office supply management, leave records maintenance, and distribution list administration.
