Job Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards through inspection, measurement, and proper documentation. The role includes final inspection of valves, dimensional verification, incoming material checks, and maintaining accurate quality records. The position suits candidates who are detail focused, willing to learn, and committed to maintaining product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection of valves according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
- Carry out dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Inspect spares and components to confirm compliance with defined requirements.
- Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials and purchased items.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare related reports.
- Verify documentation including test certificates, material certificates, and inspection reports.
- Ensure proper traceability and organized filing of quality documents.
- Learn and apply quality control processes, inspection tools, and relevant standards.
- Participate in training programs and improvement initiatives to strengthen inspection capabilities.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T concepts.
- Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection practices.
