Management Trainee Journey

As a Management Trainee, you will:

• Build key skills through exposure to project management, P&L management, product launches, omni-channel marketing, sales operations, strategy, and market access.
• Develop management and healthcare business acumen through personal development workshops and training programs, including immersion stints with field-based teams.
• Grow as a business leader by working with project managers and senior leaders who are directly invested in your development.
• Network with country leadership team members.

Final Placement

Management Trainees will be placed in one of the following roles, depending on preference, performance during the MT stint, and role availability:

• Brand Management: Design, implement, and evaluate marketing activities for assigned products within a product line, including distribution channel solutions (digital, social media, inside sales). Support the review of marketing programs, help implement changes, and analyse market data to identify key segment drivers. Work with promotional and direct-to-consumer teams.
• Market Access & Pricing: Help develop pricing strategies for all products. Manage contract processing, analysis, and reporting, and work closely with Contract Strategy to improve contract implementation and efficiency.
• Business, Strategy & Portfolio: Lead and conduct analysis of industry and market trends, run regular strategic analyses of AZ peers, and contribute to high-level strategic exercises. Support planning, direction, and oversight of analysis related to the current and future portfolio.
• Sales: Lead the sales portfolio for a geography, working closely with the leadership team to drive growth in the area. Focus areas include business revenue growth, profitability, quality of sales, and developing talent within the team.
