About the Internship
Google is excited to announce the 2026 Associate Software Developer Internship in India, designed for second-year students pursuing an Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field. This 10-12 week summer program, starting in May 2026, offers hands-on development experience, mentorship, and exposure to Google's cutting-edge technologies.
Program Highlights
- Work on a development project alongside Googlers and fellow interns.
- Enhance coding skills and gain experience with various programming languages and tools.
- Attend technical talks from senior Google engineers.
- Receive mentorship from a dedicated Google Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Fluent in English for technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in a full-time degree program with plans to return after the internship.
- Available for a full-time internship between May and August 2026.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned project area and may include software development, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
