Role Overview
The Associate QA Engineer will work closely with the devices system team to ensure end to end product quality. The role involves executing existing test plans, identifying failures, and debugging issues across complete system setups. You will also gain exposure to quality assurance processes and debugging tools used by the team.
This position requires daily collaboration with developers and QA engineers from multiple teams to analyze issues and verify fixes. The work environment focuses on innovation in video streaming and broadband technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Test multidisciplinary embedded systems across software and hardware components.
- Perform end to end functional testing for product features.
- Execute test cases to validate product behavior and maintain quality standards in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with device under test (DUT) development and QA teams during testing and debugging activities.
Required Qualifications
- BTech or BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering with no backlogs.
- Minimum 70 percent score upon completion of the course.
- Knowledge of Layer 3 networking protocols.
- Linux knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with scripting tools or languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different teams and strong English writing and speaking skills.
