The opportunity

The technical marketing engineer for Mission Critical telecommunication Solutions (MCS) has global responsibility to enable the Pre-Sales & Sales community of different regional HUBs to understand technical market requirements for wired telecommunication networks. They ensure customer interaction aligns with global solution/product strategy and support sales organizations with technical expertise.

How you'll make an impact

• Support Global Projects by adapting HVDC Cyber security for SCADA & HMI
• Develop architecture & functional descriptions for cyber security technologies
• Prepare & perform test case scenarios and participate in FST
• Support projects in resolving cyber security issues
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to optimize solutions
• Design & develop secured network architecture for SCADA systems
• Evaluate and strengthen security of SCADA network connections
• Monitor third party security patches to maintain system reliability
• Implement security features from device and system vendors
• Establish controls over potential backdoor access to SCADA network
• Implement internal/external intrusion detection systems
• Perform technical audits of SCADA devices and networks
• Conduct physical security surveys of remote sites
• Maintain test environment with updated software/hardware
• Handle backup/image management and patch management
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/ECE/EEE
• Minimum knowledge in networking & protections
• Knowledge in Networking, security, Anti-Virus
• Basic knowledge on IEEE/IEC standards
• Basic knowledge on C/C++ (SCADA project experience preferred)
• Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel
• Self-starter who can own tasks through completion
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
