Empower Personal Wealth is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Engineer Automation Quality to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational automation knowledge who are eager to develop their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop low to medium complexity automated test scripts, assisting senior engineers on more complex tasks.
- Execute automated test cases and report results accurately.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA.
- Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to align with application changes.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
- Perform manual testing when required.
- Follow automation quality best practices and partner with senior engineers for guidance.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of testing experience or equivalent training in automation quality.
- Understanding of software testing principles, API & UI functional testing.
- Familiarity with Java (core concepts) and automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL database testing and test management tools like ZE.
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
