About the Role
HSBC is seeking a motivated Associate Business Analyst to join its team in Gurgaon. This is a full-time hybrid role ideal for freshers looking to start their career in business analysis within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply an improvement-focused mindset to identify and address less obvious issues or problems.
- Bring clarity and structure to undefined or complex problems, making them easier to solve.
- Evaluate the costs, benefits, and potential obstacles of proposed solutions before implementation.
- Communicate complex information in a clear, structured, and audience-appropriate manner.
- Understand HSBC’s strategic priorities, business drivers, and competitive landscape to propose aligned solutions.
- Build strong working relationships with internal analysis and design teams, as well as external partners.
- Provide expert guidance across multiple projects or programs, including requirements gathering, design, change management, and implementation.
- Conduct ad-hoc business research and analysis tasks related to project or program scope.
Requirements
- Knowledge of transformation skills including business analysis, process mapping, data analysis, and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills across business, IT, data, and operations teams.
- General understanding of the financial services industry with functional expertise.
- Agile certifications preferred.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is desirable; candidates without it are expected to work towards obtaining it.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model.
- 5 working days per week.
