Job Description
The Associate Analyst will assist in all phases of the due diligence process for digital platforms and repeatable low-level client due diligence questionnaires (DDQs). This role involves researching, writing, editing, and responding to due diligence questionnaires related to Invesco's global suite of products. The Associate Analyst must be highly motivated and intellectually curious, with the ability to take on more responsibility and independence as they gain experience and expertise with the DDQ process and Invesco's products.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely submissions for various clients, including digital due diligence platforms and repeatable low-level client DDQs.
- Follow processes and procedures, such as saving resource files correctly to project folders and closing out projects.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring deliverables are quality checked for relevance, accuracy, and formatting before sending to the Delivery Manager for peer review.
- Pursue process improvements through automated features in our content system, Responsive, and online submission platforms.
- Build and maintain strong investment knowledge and a credible understanding of different asset classes and capabilities offered by Invesco.
- Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of Invesco's structure and operations.
- Share knowledge with other team members.
- Peer review and check work produced by other team members once the required level of expertise has been reached.
- Contribute to the review and development of processes within the Delivery Strategy Operations team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
The Experience You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Communications, English, or Liberal Arts; some exposure to Economics or Finance courses preferred.
- Interest in the CFA Investment Foundations certificate is encouraged.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Understanding of different asset classes and strategies and how they function is preferred.
- Strong writing and editing skills; excellent communicator.
- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
- Self-starter, highly motivated.
- Critical thinker and quick learner; intellectually curious.
- Able to work well both independently and as a team member.
- Interest in exploring a career in financial services.
