Associate Analyst (Data Collection) at GlobalLogic | Freshers

Description

We are looking for meticulous, energetic, and physically active Egocentric Data Collection Operators to join our field operations team in Delhi NCR. In this role, you will collect high-quality, first-person (egocentric) video footage across diverse real-world locations (retail stores, warehouses, hotels, workshops, labs) using advanced Meta Quest 3 VR headsets.

The collected data will directly power cutting-edge AI and Computer Vision models by capturing natural human movement, hand-object interactions, and multi-step task workflows. Candidates must be comfortable wearing VR headsets for multi-hour collection shifts and executing structured physical tasks following strict quality guidelines.

Requirements

Prior experience in field data collection (0-2 years). Basic understanding of lighting, camera exposure, and video recording concepts. Strong discipline, punctuality, and time management skills. Good communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with smart devices, mobile apps, or VR headsets (Meta Quest / Oculus experience is a strong plus). Physical Agility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift moderate weights, and perform active physical tasks. Comfort with VR Hardware: Comfort wearing a VR headset for extended operational periods without suffering from motion sickness. Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to following structured guidelines, operating procedures, and strict quality control standards. Must be willing to work from office and in rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs). Must be ready to join immediately.

Job responsibilities

• Perform realistic, structured, and multi-step physical activities while wearing the Meta Quest 3 headset to capture clear first-person video data.
• Execute a wide range of natural hand-object interactions, including picking, placing, reaching, bending, turning, carrying, packing, sorting, organizing, scanning, loading, and trolley transport.
• Operate across diverse, real-world scenes such as retail shelving areas, hotel guest rooms, warehouse packing benches, assembly stations, and laboratory setups.
• Ensure all tasks demonstrate dynamic whole-body movement and clear hand visibility without blocking camera views.
