AspenTech is Hiring Software Quality Engineer | Fresher | 7.5LPA

About the Role:
AspenTech is seeking talented individuals to join our Product Quality Team as Software Quality Engineers. In this role, you will test Aspen Products that provide next-generation solutions for Engineering, Manufacturing, and Asset Optimization. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure product quality while collaborating closely with R&D and Product Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, execute, and maintain automated tests including backend, UI, and API
• Create automated test scripts for non-functional system verification
• Work within CI/CD pipelines to configure and maintain multiple test environments
• Perform requirements analysis, create test strategies and test cases, troubleshoot issues, and report defects
• Manually execute complex functional and non-functional tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to provide updates and solve problems in an agile environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• 0-3 years of work experience
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting)
• Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
• System Administration experience (personal or small-scale systems)
• Understanding of manual and automated testing best practices
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools
• Ability to maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX servers
• Experience with server virtualization (VMWare, VSphere)
• General networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Layer 2 & 3 switches, SNMP)
• Experience with source control systems (Git, CVS, Subversion)
