Aspentech Hiring Software Quality Engineer in Noida

The Role

Aspentech is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to develop and execute testing approaches for its Operational Technology (OT) products. The role focuses on designing and building low-maintenance, portable test automation scripts using modern technologies while ensuring products meet established standards and requirements.

You will help identify product issues through effective test strategies and collaborate with R&D and Product Management teams to drive quality practices and gather functional requirements.

Your Impact

• Design, build, execute, and maintain automated testing for backend, UI, and APIs.
• Create automated scripts for non-functional system verification.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines to configure, build, and patch test environments.
• Perform requirement analysis, prepare test strategies and cases, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
• Carry out manual execution of complex functional and non-functional tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an agile setup.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• System administration knowledge, including small systems or personal networks.
• Understanding of manual and automated testing practices.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation frameworks.
• Ability to maintain Windows, Linux, and UNIX servers.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare and VSphere.
• General networking knowledge including TCP/IP, SNMP, and Layer 2/3 switches.
• Experience using source control systems such as CVS, Subversion, or Git.
