About the Role
The Client Operations team delivers client support for S&P Global Market Intelligence business intelligence tools by engaging in investigative conversations, encouraging product adoption, and helping drive revenue. The team operates globally with members across the US, Philippines, and Pakistan.
As part of the Client Services group, you will act as a product generalist for the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. The role requires close collaboration with teammates and regular interaction with internal teams including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support.
The Impact
This position serves as a key client-facing role. You will respond to client inquiries, advocate for their needs, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the platform, datasets, and industries covered. Clients often include leading financial institutions that rely on the team for clarity and insights.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer support to clients, distributors, and internal staff through phone, email, and web chat for industry, content, and product-related questions.
- Support clients from sectors such as Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management, Financial Corporates, and Non‑Financial Corporates.
- Contribute to training and mentoring new hires after developing expertise in best practices and product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to improve product usability, data quality, and presentation.
- Collaborate with Senior Associates on projects that build subject matter expertise.
- Work with clients to identify template opportunities and guide them through the template creation process.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance, or relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of financial markets or the global economy.
- Ability to use common computer programs and digital tools.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate within a team environment.
