Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Analyst - VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) in Chennai.
What a typical day looks like:
- Managing inventory located at third-party hub locations remotely through regular reconciliation and tracking.
- Creation of sales orders and purchase orders.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Reducing inventory ageing.
- Reporting sales and inventory on a weekly basis.
- Reconciling sub-module vs trial balance.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Strong in number crunching.
- One or two years of experience in GL, Intercompany Activity, AR, or AP.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and email software.
- Good presentation skills and teamwork.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- 0-2 years of experience with BCom, BBA (Finance), MCom, or MBA (Finance).
- Good understanding of MS applications (basic level).
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
- Willingness to work in a complex environment with strict deadlines on projects.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of financial statements is a must.
- Ability to work in a team.
