Role Summary

As a Product Analyst Intern at Amber, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed product decisions. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to measure performance, assess experiments, and guide product improvements through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to explore datasets and extract insights with minimal guidance
• Define and set up key metrics for tracking product and functional performance
• Conduct data analysis to measure the impact of product experiments and recommend course corrections
• Propose actionable improvements to products based on analytical findings
• Build dashboards to monitor feature rollouts and long-term success metrics
• Define new metrics and strategies to improve product and business performance
• Work with engineers to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability
• Execute deep-dives into data to identify key problems and propose experimentation-based solutions
• Capture and synthesize insights from customer feedback, experiments, and research to influence product direction

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SQL and comfort working with large datasets
• Proficient in using Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization
• Curious mindset with a strong interest in understanding user behavior and product performance
• Willingness to learn new tools such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Tableau
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Clear and structured communication of insights
• Collaborative approach to working with multiple stakeholders
• Self-motivated and proactive in learning and executing tasks

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio
• Python knowledge for data analysis or scripting
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) or similar tools
• Familiarity with data science/statistical concepts
• Understanding of AWS or GCP environments
• Experience using Google App Script for automating tasks in Sheets
