About the Role
Amazon is seeking passionate and innovative Software Development Engineers (SDE I) to join our tech teams. As an SDE at Amazon, you will work on cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world problems that impact millions of customers globally. You'll be part of a collaborative team creating scalable, high-performance solutions and building new products and services from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and launch innovative products and services
- Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Develop technology solutions for large-scale predictions and data processing
- Create efficient storage, indexing, and querying systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to solve complex problems
- Participate in agile development cycles and contribute to high-quality software releases
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Required Skills
object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, complexity analysis, C, C++, Python, Java, Perl
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in technical internships
- Understanding of distributed systems and relational databases
- Knowledge of optimization techniques including linear and nonlinear programming
- Ability to articulate and solve technical problems clearly
- Strong abstract thinking and problem-solving ability in ambiguous scenarios
