Job Description
Amazon is seeking passionate individuals to join the Consumer Robotics division as ML Data Associate I. This position contributes to the advancement of Astro, Amazon’s first household robot, leveraging AI and Intelligent Motion to redefine home assistance. The role is integral to ensuring high-quality data capture for AI model development and product training.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a set of instructions to collect ground truth data that support product development.
- Accurately perform task execution and report outcomes.
- Understand and follow standard operating procedures and dynamic updates for new tasks.
- Conduct repetitive operations while maintaining expected quality benchmarks.
- Use internal software tools for data capture and daily reporting as per process norms.
- Communicate results, flag issues, and submit daily status reports.
- Escalate and track execution failures or queries using the internal ticketing portal within SLA timelines.
- Maintain ownership of daily targets and dependencies for timely delivery.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Proficiency in spoken, written, and read English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Familiarity with US cultural nuances and contexts
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Data Annotation, English Proficiency, Computer Basics, Reporting Tools, Task Execution, Documentation, Quality Control
