Job Description
Device Associates at Amazon work on manual testing for user-level applications and products. The role focuses on black box testing, accurate execution of test cases, and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Candidates should understand product functionality, report testing outcomes clearly, and maintain proper documentation during execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for software builds across desktop and mobile platforms for Amazon Assistant products.
- Carry out test execution activities and report bugs with accuracy.
- Understand testing processes and follow guidelines for new builds and releases.
- Perform regression and repetitive testing while maintaining quality standards.
- Use software tools such as adb command for daily data capture activities.
- Capture results, communicate failures, escalate issues, and provide status updates.
- Raise failures or clarification requests in the portal and close them within defined SLA timelines.
- Read basic scripts for troubleshooting purposes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and tools such as Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.
- Experience in quality assurance engineering, technical support, troubleshooting, or debugging technical systems.
- Understanding of test plans, test cases, and testing results with a QA background.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of QA experience can apply.
