Role Overview
As a Software Testing Engineer Intern at Airbus, you will contribute to the development and testing of innovative software solutions that support next-generation aerospace systems. This role offers exposure to the complete software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and integration. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work with modern tools and methodologies, and gain valuable experience in building reliable, scalable, and efficient software.
Responsibilities
You will be involved in coding, debugging, and testing software components, designing test strategies, creating test scripts, and supporting integration activities. The role also includes researching new tools and approaches to improve development efficiency while ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain source code repositories to meet product requirements
- Follow best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
- Design specifications that align with product blueprints
- Contribute to all stages of the software lifecycle: analysis, design, testing, integration, and deployment
- Research and implement tools that enhance development efficiency
- Test, debug, and integrate highly available and scalable systems
- Prepare product documentation and assist in user manual development
- Define test strategies, design scripts and scenarios, and track execution
- Ensure smooth integration of applications, databases, and interfaces
- Commit to compliance, integrity, and quality at every stage
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields (pursuing or recently graduated)
Technical Skills Required
