Your Mission

An internship titled System Engineer - Intern has opened at Airbus India in Bangalore. You will join the Digital Infrastructure & Platform department. The internship is ideally 6 months and should start in January 2027 (date subject to flexibility).

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing root cause analysis for incidents and trend analysis for proactive measures
• Reporting in the Airbus defined template and filling in all details
• Providing accessibility and analysis for RCA, L2 and L3 support
• Working on the ServiceNow tool
• Taking ownership of reported customer issues and driving them to resolution
• Following standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Tracking issues to resolution within agreed timelines
• Guiding clients through a series of actions until resolution
• Providing accurate and prompt feedback to customers
• Prioritizing and managing several open issues at once
• Documenting technical knowledge as knowledge base articles
• Standardizing quality assurance procedures for software engineering, overseeing testing and developing fixes

Your tutor will support you in identifying your professional objectives and developing your skills.

Skills You Will Develop

• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, dotNet, scripting and Python
• Basic knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change Management and Knowledge Management
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Customer focus and proactive stakeholder management

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an Engineering (graduate or post-graduate) degree.

• Hands-on experience in Java, dotNet, scripting, Python or similar
• Experience or understanding of designing and implementing CI/CD and pipelines is an added advantage
• Experience or understanding of APIs and integrations
• Experience or understanding of Linux or Unix environments
• Soft skills: creative thinking, time management, adaptability and resilience, analytical reasoning
• English: fluent
