Airbus Hiring Engineering Strategy Apprentice (Bengaluru)

Job Description

Airbus India is offering an apprenticeship opportunity within the Strategy & Transversal Integration department in Bengaluru. The role is part of teams responsible for Methods & Tools Digital Products, Methods & Tools Physical Products, Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering Acceleration, or Aircraft Configuration Management.

This apprenticeship program is planned for approximately 12 months and is expected to begin around July 2026, with some flexibility in the start date. The position may require eligibility for security clearance by recognized authorities where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand organizational processes used within the department and support initiatives that improve and streamline business operations.
• Gather business requirements and assist in building basic digital solutions such as automation tools, data analytics solutions, or operational dashboards.
• Explore emerging technologies including AI, ML, and related concepts to develop proof-of-concept solutions that support operational improvements.

Learning Outcomes

During the apprenticeship, you will work with a tutor who helps define professional objectives and supports skill development. The program provides exposure to organizational processes and the mechanisms used to optimize them.

• Gain insight into business operations and methods used to improve operational efficiency.
• Learn to identify opportunities and create digital solutions using appropriate frameworks.
• Develop an understanding of how emerging technologies can create business value.

Technical Competencies

• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace tools, particularly Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
• Understanding of object oriented programming concepts with basic knowledge of languages such as Python, Angular, or JavaScript.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics, data analytics, and data structures.
• Awareness of database technologies and introductory exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is beneficial.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools is considered an advantage.
