Job Description

Airbus Engineering Center in Bengaluru hosts more than 1500 engineers working across fixed and rotary-wing aircraft programs including A320, A330, A350 XWB, A380 airliners and helicopter platforms. The center contributes to areas such as structural analysis, loads, aerodynamics, avionics software design and testing, system simulation, digital mock-up, and system installation.

Electrical System Architecture

As an Electrical System Architecture Engineer, you will work on activities such as electrical load analysis, configuration management, and defining, reviewing, and analyzing electrical architectures. Contributions span the entire aircraft lifecycle from early development phases to post-delivery support.

  • Network quality analysis
  • Analysis and proposals for electrical architecture modifications
  • Investigation of in-service occurrences
  • Electrical structure network analysis

Electrical Load Analysis

  • Review and analyze electrical load lists
  • Evaluate loads across different levels including busbar, TRU, and generator levels, including overload analysis
  • Create Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) documents and reports
  • Respond to airline electrical load analysis requests
  • Deliver electrical load analysis outputs for Airbus commercial aircraft programs while meeting timelines, cost, and quality expectations

Modeling and Digitalization

  • Conduct feasibility studies for new modification proposals
  • Design and size electrical architectures using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape
  • Perform trade-off studies across aircraft programs
  • Provide system architecture and installation inputs for improvement studies
  • Develop simulation models and model-based prognostics algorithms for electrical systems
  • Analyze electrical parameters and test data to support design and development decisions

Additional Activities

  • Initiate optimization studies and recommend innovative solutions
  • Create collaboration topics to improve processes, methods, and tools
