Job Description
An apprenticeship opportunity titled Enterprise Architecture Modeling & Repository Apprentice is available at Airbus India in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role is part of the Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation department, which manages enterprise architecture tooling and digital initiatives.
This apprenticeship is planned as a 12‑month program beginning around April 2026, with some flexibility on the start date. The position may require security clearance or eligibility for clearance from recognized authorities.
Your Mission
- EAMR & EAR Support: Assist the team in maintaining a harmonized shared architectural repository. Support updates and consistency of models for business capabilities, applications, and infrastructure using SPARX Enterprise Architect and Prolaborate environments.
- Platform Evolution: Contribute to the modernization of the repository platform. This includes supporting migration to EA v17 and helping manage MSSQL databases along with Pro Cloud Server (PCS) configurations.
- EADA & Legacy Transition: Support the information layer of enterprise architecture by assisting with data analytics activities and related platforms. Help maintain existing modeling platforms and support transitions from legacy systems to newer solutions.
Throughout the apprenticeship, a dedicated tutor will help you define professional objectives and develop your technical capabilities.
Skills and Exposure During the Program
- Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect and Prolaborate, as well as platforms like Palantir.
- Understanding of architectural frameworks, including mapping of applications, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Technical exposure to VB scripting, MDG technologies, SQL database management, and related enterprise applications within a global corporate environment.
